30A Restaurants and Dining
The scenic highway 30A area near our condo rentals is home to some of Florida’s best dining. From world-class gourmet restaurants to cozy seafood shacks, there is a taste and a budget for everyone. Fresh local seafood can be found at every turn, however foodies will also love the wide variety of authentic international cuisine and traditional eateries and steakhouses.
Bud & Alley’s restaurant is located within walking distance in Seaside, and boasts many awards, including the OpenTable.com Diner’s Choice award. Bud & Alley’s is fine dining but with a casual ambience complemented by some of the best local cuisine and sunsets around.
Just a few minutes away by car is George’s restaurant in Alys Beach. George’s offers a relaxed atmosphere and a mouth-watering continental menu of fresh seafood, chicken, vegetarian-friendly options and more. Choose from open-air dining or a spot on the covered porch, and enjoy.
Further west, The Red Bar is a funky Grayton Beach hot spot that has been serving up good times and great food for many years. The simple but delicious menu includes pasta with crawfish and shrimp, panne chicken and mashed potatoes, stuffed eggplant, crab cakes and fish of the day.

If you like to shop, the 30A area provides a wealth of options. With unique gift stores, upscale boutiques and galleries nestled within every beachside community, 30A shopping is more of an attraction in itself than just a way to spend some vacation dollars.
Shoppers can spend hours simply browsing and experiencing each individual 30A spot and its retail treasures. Located in Santa Rosa Beach, Gulf Place is an art lover’s paradise. The Artists at Gulf Place is a co-operative featuring nine local artists who sell their creations in an open-air market of colorful kiosks. Works include pottery, raku, folk art, glass mosaics, photography and jewelry.
Within walking distance of One Seagrove Place in Seaside, Cabana by The Seaside Style, formally known as Perspcasity, offers a fantastic collection of bohemian inspired fashions, accessories and jewelry.
Also in Seaside, Sundog Books & Central Square Records features an eclectic collection of fine literature and music for all ages.
